Meet the HR Team

Sheri Gordon
HR Director,
Infrastructure & Risk Manager

Sheri was born in Arkansas and has two wonderful daughters, four adorable granddaughters, 2 grand-dogs, and 1 crazy cat. If she could live anywhere, it would be along a coastline so she could relax on the beach with her feet in the sand. Sheri’s a busy lady, but never too busy to keep our CAG crew cared for – it’s what she does best!

Grace Watson
HR Manager

Grace is from Bastrop, Texas. Outside of CAG, Grace enjoys shopping, listening to live music, trying great Mexican restaurants, finding things to do in Austin and discovering new adventures. Grace went on an amazing cruise vacation to Mexico and can’t wait for her next one! Grace is a Texas sports fan who cheers for the Longhorns and the Cowboys.

Jackie Orewiler
HR Assistant Manager

Jackie was born and raised in Wheaton, Illinois. She has a chihuahua mix and golden retriever puppy that take up most of her time on the weekends. In her free time, Jackie enjoys sudoku, hiking, watching movies, and anything to do with dogs!

Jackie Romero
HR Specialist

Jackie was born in California, but has planted roots in Austin. She has a dog named Bandit that she likes to take on walks. She enjoys football, hanging with friends, and is a huge NASCAR fan! She aspires to one day visit the NASCAR Hall of Fame in North Carolina. “Joy is contagious. Hang around joyful people and there’s every chance you’ll catch it.”

Chayse Pearson
Applicant Tracking Lead

Chayse hails from Portland, Oregon. Around Austin, Chayse loves checking out new restaurants all over the city and going to Lady Bird Lake. She knows she made the right decision to move here thanks to how nice the people are, how great the food scene is, and how incredible it is to have so much live music all around.

Trinity Sanders
Hiring Specialist

Trinity is from Pflugerville, Texas, and she loves Austin for its diversity and delicious food. When she’s not busy working, Trinity enjoys spending time at the Domain, kayaking/tubing on Barton Creek, playing Mortal Kombat, and finding new restaurants to eat at. She’s a huge fan of Drake and will never say no to some good chicken tikka masala from Tarka Indian Kitchen.

Hannah Swayn
Hiring Specialist

Hannah is thrilled to be joining the CAG team. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her two dogs – a chug named Ziggy and an Australian Shepherd/Husky mix named Granola. She loves alternative music and her favorite artist is Halsey. When it comes to food, Hannah’s favorite restaurant is The Melting Pot because their cheese fondue is undeniably one of the best things in the world. FUN FACT: Hannah is part of a band called Wicker! Check out some of their music, you won’t be disappointed!

Julia Chaparro
Admin Assistant

Julia is from El Paso and moved to Austin in 2017 to be closer to her family. In her free time, she enjoys getting dressed up to go out to eat and take pictures with her friends. Julia has been to Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica, and notes it to be the best place she’s visited thus far. In the future, she hopes to hit up Zanzibar, Africa for its beautiful waters. At home, Julia has a cat named Benjamin who is the sweetest lad!

Joseph Brandao
Wellness Coach

Before moving to Austin, Joseph spent his whole life living in Hawaii and California. While he is new to the area, he is very excited to be in Texas for this next chapter of his life! In his spare time, Joseph enjoys all outdoor activities, discovering and trying new restaurants, going to the movies, and traveling to new places with his longtime girlfriend and their two Pomeranians, Grizzly and Milo!

Julie Machonga
Wellness Coach

Julie is from the East Coast, New Jersey to be exact! She originally moved to Texas to go to grad school at Texas State, then moved away to Mississippi for a brief 3 years before coming back to Austin in November 2020. In Austin, Julie likes that there is a constant variety of things to do, like the ability to have brunch downtown, hang out on the water, or get lost in the woods – all in the same day. An endless amount of things to do, food to eat, and sights to see!

Sam Rivera
Wellness Coach

Sam has been working professionally in the fitness industry since 2019, and she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology that she uses to aid in developing personalized fitness regimes. Sam has competed and placed in multiple events at the McAllen Iron House Classic including the bikini and classic divisions and has a personal training certificate from ISSA. She is extremely passionate about helping her clients achieve their physical goals, and she looks forward to beginning this chapter with CAG!

Angelica Lancaster, PA-C
Healthcare Provider

Angelica is a 5th-generation Texan, born and raised in San Antonio. She has over 10 years of experience working for CAG Wellness and has loved every minute of it. She is passionate about caring for her patients while also taking the time to get to know them. When she’s not working, Angelica enjoys camping at Texas State Parks and National Parks with her family in their camper. At home, Angelica has four pets: a dog, a cat, two gerbils, and a fish. FUN FACTS: Angelica is fluent in Spanish, and she loves quilting and sewing.

Cynthia Brotzman, RN
Blood Labs Nurse

Cynthia is from Memphis, TN, and she began working for CAG Wellness around 2015. Her hobbies include taking walks along Town Lake, playing tennis, trying new recipes, and shopping for antiques. When it comes to sports, Cynthia roots for the University of Georgia which is where her daughter, Avery, will be earning her degree in 2023. Her other daughter, Peyton, plays Division 1 tennis at the College of Charleston. Cynthia is also a University of Texas fan. FUN FACT: Cynthia is extremely proud of her three awesome kids – a son and twin daughters.

Mark Cobern
Maintenance Director

Mark owned his own general contracting business and worked for Mr. Hardeman and the Continental Automotive Group for many years before becoming a full-time employee in November 2006. Mark plays the keyboard and organ for a Christian rock band at his church, The Journey.

Keith Bottoms
Maintenance Director

Keith is originally from Tucson, AZ but moved to Texas in 1990 after graduating high school and has been here ever since! His favorite musician is the local blues guitarist Monte Montgomery. For Keith, the automotive industry runs in the blood. There are many mechanics in his family and he’s been in the industry for over 30 years! If he could invite anyone to dinner, he’d invite Elvis because Keith has many questions he needs answered. Keith also has one black cat named Rose Royce, who he found and rescued from a car wash trench.
