The Continental Automotive Group is excited to announce the establishment of the Continental General Agency, a partnership with Panoptic Insurance to provide automobile, property, and life insurance to CAG customers and employees. Through the new company, CAG customers will have access to an insurance agent who can obtain quotes and coverage from a variety of industry-leading carriers, such as Assurant, Encompass Insurance, Foremost Insurance Group, Hagerty Collector Car Insurance, Mass Mutual, Progressive Insurance, The Hartford, Travelers, ASI Lloyds, and Fidelity Insurance Group. “With this new service we’re hoping that we can provide our customers with a convenient way to obtain better insurance coverage at a lower price,” said Genny Hardeman, President of the Continental General Agency. “We are always looking for ways to improve customer satisfaction and trust, and we’re excited about the opportunity to help both our sales and service customers find policies for their automobiles, in addition to property and life insurance coverage.”
Will Hardeman, a partner of the Continental General Agency, explained how the new insurance company will be especially convenient for current CAG customers. “Taking care of the insurance component ourselves allows customers who are already coming to the dealerships to see their insurance agent here as well,” Will said. “And, because we’re able to provide quotes from a large group of carriers, hopefully we’ll be able to save our customers some money, in addition to their time.”
The Continental Automotive Group has hired Sandee Foley as Director of Insurance Sales for the new company. A fifteen year sales industry veteran, Sandee also has a great deal of personal experience working with insurance companies and hunting for the best coverage possibilities. Maintaining insurance for a son with Type 1 Diabetes has shown Sandee the limitations that are imposed by many automobile, health, and life insurance companies, and also gives her hope for others, as she has found that there are companies that issue life insurance to a person with what they consider an “incurable” disease. She emphasizes the importance of having multiple carriers quoting for your business at the same time and says that the consumer does win when these type of options are utilized.
“I am here to assist anyone that needs help in finding adequate coverage,” Sandee said. “Sometimes it is fun stuff, like a simple policy for a new car. Other times it is making sure that someone’s property insurance is adequately updated to meet today’s replacement costs. Whatever our clients are looking for, I am confident that we can help them find it. Although most people see insurance as a hassle, I enjoy uncovering the different layers and possibilities to determine the appropriate level of coverage and help people save money whenever possible.”
